English Heritage
 

English Heritage is the Government's lead body for the historic environment in England. They are responsible for protecting the best of the country's unique legacy of historic buildings, landscapes and archaeological sites for the benefit of this and future generations.

Membership benefits include free entry to more than 400 English Heritage properties. A welcome pack with full-colour guide to all properties and a map. Members' quarterly magazine, Heritage Today. The National Trust
 

The National Trust are a registered charity and completely independent of Government. They have over 250 historic houses, gardens and industrial buildings and 248,000 hectares of countryside and over 600 miles of coastline across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to look after and care for.

Members receive a range of benefits, including free admission (during normal opening hours) to those properties which are open to the public at a charge, including NTS properties. Historic Scotland
 

Historic Scotland safeguards Scotland's built heritage. They maintain over 300 properties in the care of the Secretary of State for Scotland.

CADW: Welsh Historic Monuments
 

Cadw: Welsh Historic Monuments Executive Agency, is a part of the National Assembly for Wales. Created in 1984, Cadw carries out the complete range of responsibilities for the conservation, presentation, and promotion of the built heritage of Wales on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales. They have 129 properties in their care.

Members receive a range of benefits, including free admission to all CADW sites. Half price admission to hundreds of sites in England and Scotland, from Stonehenge to Edinburgh Castle. When you rejoin 'Heritage in Wales' without a break, then admission to the historic sites in all three countries is free. (National Trust properties, Historic Royal Palaces sites such as the Tower of London and sites on the Isle of Man are not included). Free Heritage in Wales membership pack, includes a range of full colour brochures with details of all the castles and historic places in the care of Cadw, a large, superbly illustrated, full-colour map to help plan visits, and a 'Heritage in Wales' car sticker.
